Applicants are advised to renew the passports at least 8 months before expiration date. There are two ways on how to renew the Philippine Passport in India. Personal appearance of the applicant is required.
Option #1: You can renew the passport at the Philippine Embassy in India.
Option #2: You can go to the Consular Outreach Mission. The Mission provides consular services to different locations in India and Nepal.

Passport Renewal at the Philippine Embassy in New Delhi, India
Step 1: Go to the Embassy and bring the complete requirements.
- Accomplished e-Passport application form
- Original Philippine passport
- Photocopy of the passport’s data page
- Photocopy of entry visa to India, immigration arrival stamp by India’s Bureau of Immigration, and stamp indicating status of stay in India
- Proof of the applicant’s actual residence like driver’s license, State ID, Employment ID, or other similar documents
- Fee: RS 4,260.00 (demand draft payable to “Embassy of the Philippines”)
- Additional courier fee to receive the passport through mail
Processing Time: 30 days

- Passport application and renewal
- Replacement of damaged or lost passport
- Passport application for first-time applicant or newborn
- Change of surname
Step 2: Claim the e-Passport at the Philippine Embassy in India and bring the requirements if you don’t want to receive the new passport through mail.
- Official receipt
- Old passport for cancellation
For those who cannot personally get the new passport, you may assign an authorized person (relative or friend) to claim the passport on your behalf with the additional requirements:
- Authorization letter
- Authorized person’s passport or ID
Passport Renewal at the Consular Outreach Mission
The steps in renewing the passport through the Consular Outreach are the same if you would do it in the Philippine Embassy but with few additions.
