How to Renew Philippine Passport in Bahrain

Although, a passport with at least 6 months’ validity is a standard requirement for international travel, Filipinos can renew the Philippine passport 8 or 9 months before its expiration to make up for any possible delay in the process between the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain and in the Philippines.

Step 1: Bring the requirements for the renewal passport at the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain.

Requirements:

  • Accomplished e-Passport application form (Use BLACK INK)
  • Original passport
  • Photocopy of passport data page
  • Fee: Foreign Service Posts – BD 60.00 (28-60 days)

What Not to Wear:

All applicants should wear decent clothing for passport photo capture.

  • Plunging necklines
  • Sleeveless clothing
  • Spaghetti strapped tops
  • See-through tops
  • Sando
  • Tube tops
  • Halters and the likes

Note: During data capture, do not wear earrings and colored contact lenses.

Step 2: Claim the new passport in the claiming counters from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.The processing time is 28 – 60 days. Bring the old passport which will be cancelled in front of you.

Option #1: You can claim the new passport by yourself.

Option #2: You can authorize immediate family members (father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, and children of legal age) to claim the new passport with the following requirements:

  • Authorization letter
  • Photocopy of your ID or old passport
  • Old passport
  • Special Power of Attorney or Affidavit of Support and Consent (only for the passport of minor applicant)
