How to Renew Philippine Passport in South Korea

There are two ways on how to renew the Philippine Passport in South Korea. Personal appearance of the applicant is required.

Option #1: You can renew the passport at the Philippine Embassy in Seoul.

Option #2: You can book an appointment online for the Consular Outreach Mission. The Mission will go to different locations in South Korea to provide consular services.

Passport Renewal at the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, South Korea

Step 1: Go to the Embassy and bring the complete requirements on Monday to Thursday ( 9:00 am – 3:00 pm).

  1. Accomplished e-Passport application form
  2. Original Philippine passport
  3. Photocopy of the passport’s data page
  4. Fee: KRW 80,520

You can also renew the passport on Sunday ( 9:00 am – 4:00 pm) but you have to make an appointment online.

Processing Time: 6-8 weeks

  • Renewal of passport of minors
  • Passport amendment (married women, divorced, annulled, and widow)
  • Minor
  • Newborn

Step 2: Claim the e-Passport at the Philippine Embassy in South Korea and bring the requirements.

  1. Official receipt
  2. Old passport for cancellation

For those who cannot personally get the new passport, you may assign an authorized person to claim the passport on your behalf.

Passport Renewal at the Consular Outreach Mission

Step 1: Check the schedule of the Consular Outreach Mission in different locations in South Korea.

Step 2: Book an appointment online to secure a spot in the Consular Outreach Mission and print the confirmation slip.

Step 3: Bring all the requirements on the day of appointment.
