How to Renew Philippine Passport in Norway

Filipinos in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) can renew the passport at the Philippine Embassy in Oslo, Norway.

Personal appearance of the applicant is required for all passport applications.

Online registration is required to book an appointment for the outreach so keep on checking and submit the complete requirements which are similar to walk-in passport application at the Philippine Embassy in Norway.

Steps on Philippine Passport Renewal in Oslo, Norway

Step 1: Go to the Embassy and bring the complete requirements.

  1. Accomplished e-Passport application form
  2. Original Philippine passport
  3. Photocopy of the passport’s data page
  4. Birth Certificate if born in the Philippines or Report of Birth if born abroad (original and/or photocopy)
  5. Proof of Philippine Citizenship (original and photocopy) such as one of the following:
    • Valid Permanent/Temporary Resident Card/Work Permit
    • Dual Citizenship Certificate
    • Latest Tourist Visa
  6. Fee: 540 NOK

Schedule for Passport Application and Release: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Processing Time: 8 to 12 weeks

Step 2: Check online if your passport is ready for release.

Step 3: Claim the e-Passport at the Philippine Embassy in Oslo and bring the requirements (old passport and receipt). The following people can get the new passport in behalf of the passport applicant with additional requirements:

  1. Immediate family members (father, mother, brother, sister, spouse and children of legal age with proper authorization letter)
  2. Parents of a minor applicant
  3. Authorized representative (with Special Power of Attorney) of a minor applicant

The passport applicant who wants to receive the new passport through mail should send the old passport for cancellation to the Philippine Embassy in Oslo.
