How to Renew Philippine Passport in Lebanon

Filipinos can renew the passport at the Philippine Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. Personal appearance of the applicant is required for all passport applications.

Step 1: Go to the Embassy and bring the complete requirements.

  1. Accomplished e-Passport application form
  2. Original Philippine passport
  3. Photocopy of the passport’s data page
  4. Fee: USD 60.00 (pay in exact amount and in US Dollars only)

Processing Time: 20 to 60 days

There is NO PENALTY FEE for renewal of passport, even if it has not been renewed for a long time. Check the additional requirements for passport-related services.

Step 2: Check on Facebook if your passport is ready for release. You don’t have to call the Embassy for confirmation.

Step 3: Claim the e-Passport at the Philippine Embassy in Beirut and bring the requirements. The passport applicant should personally claim the new passport; representative is not allowed.

  1. Official receipt
  2. Old passport for cancellation

Note: After getting the new passport or travel document, you must inform the Arabs and Foreigners Department in the Directorate General of the General Security (Lebanese Immigration). This will avoid any problems during departure and it is necessary to regularize the foreigner’s situation in Lebanon.
