In renewing the Philippine passport, make sure to allow enough time to get a new passport before making any trips.
Follow the steps while your passport is still valid for at least 6 months. Or better yet do it a year before the expiration of the passport.
Step 1: Bring the requirements for the renewal passport at the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait.
Requirements:
- Accomplished e-Passport application form (Use BLACK INK)
- Original passport
- Photocopy of passport data page and last page
- Photocopy of Kuwait residence visa (if applicable)
- Fee: KD 19.50
Step 2: Claim the new passport based on the schedule. The processing time is 40 days. Bring the old passport with you.
Office Hours:
Processing/Interview: 8:00 am – 12:30 pm
Releasing: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
If you have a Kuwait residence visa, transfer it to the new passport to avoid immigration penalties.
