To renew the Philippine passport at the Philippine Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, personal appearance is required.
Step 1: Go to the Embassy and bring the complete requirements.
- Accomplished e-Passport application form
- Original Philippine passport
- Photocopy of the passport’s data page
- Original Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) authenticated documents that will support the change of name (if applicable)
- Marriage Contract or Report of Marriage
- Annotated Birth Certificate
- Annotated Marriage Contract to show annulment/divorce/court ordered instruction
- Death Certificate of Spouse
- Fee: BND 90.00

Check the additional requirements for lost valid e-Passport, mutilated or damaged passport, and minor applicant.
Dress appropriately and AVOID wearing the following:
- Sleeveless shirts/blouses
- Shirts/blouses that show the navel
- Pants/skirts with very low waistline
- Transparent shirts/blouses/pants/skirts
- Shorts or skimpy pants/skirts
- Slippers/open-toe shoes
- Hats/baseball caps

Step 3: Claim the e-Passport at the Philippine Embassy in Brunei and bring the requirements depending on who will get the passport.
Passport Claim by Applicant
- Official receipt
- Old passport for cancellation
Passport Claim by Authorized Person
- Special Power of Attorney (SPA) executed by the applicant stating the reasons for his/her failure to personally claim the e-Passport
- Copy of IC of passport applicant
