How to Renew Philippine Passport in Belgium

There are two ways on how to renew the Philippine Passport in Belgium. Personal appearance of the applicant is required.

Option #1: You can renew the passport at the Philippine Embassy in Brussels.

Option #2: You can go to the Consular Outreach Mission. The Mission will go to different locations in Belgium and Luxembourg to provide consular services.

Luxembourg is a small European country. It is surrounded by Belgium, France, and Germany.

Passport Renewal at the Philippine Embassy in Brussels, Belgium

Step 1: Go to the Embassy and bring the complete requirements. No appointment is needed.

  1. Accomplished e-Passport application form
  2. Original Philippine passport
  3. Photocopy of the passport’s data page
  4. Belgium ID
  5. Fee: 54.00 EUR

Processing Time: 6 weeks

Check the additional requirements for married women who need to change maiden surname.

Step 2: Claim the e-Passport at the Philippine Embassy in Belgium and bring the requirements.

  1. Official receipt
  2. Old passport for cancellation

You cannot get the new passport if the old passport is not presented for cancellation.

For those who cannot personally get the new passport, you may assign an authorized person to claim the passport on your behalf with the additional requirements:

  1. Authorization letter
  2. Photocopy of the ID or passport of the passport owner

Passport Renewal at the Consular Outreach Mission

Step 1: Check the schedule of the Consular Outreach Mission in different cities in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Step 2: Check whether you have to send an email to book an appointment or come as a walk-in client.

Step 3: Bring all the requirements on the day of appointment.
