Philippine Embassy in Taiwan

On June 5, 1975 the Philippine Embassy in Taiwan ceased its operation. Since then the Asian Exchange Center, Inc. acted as the Philippine representative office in Taiwan.

The Asian Exchange Center was transformed on January 1, 1993 to Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) as a non-profit entity, duly incorporated under the laws of the Philippines.

Consular Services

Filipinos can avail the consular services in the Consular Section of MECO. The services are similar to what are being offered in a Philippine Embassy or Consulate General.
