How to Renew Philippine Passport in Indonesia

There are two ways on how to renew the Philippine Passport in Indonesia. Personal appearance of the applicant is required.

Option #1: You can renew the passport at the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta.

Option #2: You can go to the Consular Outreach Mission. The Mission provides consular services to different locations in Indonesia.

Filipinos are encouraged to renew their Philippine passports at least two years before expiry date in view of the 2-year requirement of Indonesian Immigration for renewal of stay permit (ITAS).

Passport Renewal at the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia

Step 1: Go to the Embassy and bring the complete requirements. No appointment is needed.

  1. Accomplished e-Passport application form
  2. Original Philippine passport
  3. Photocopy of the passport’s data page
  4. Fee: Rp 900.00 (cash only)

Step 2: Claim the e-Passport at the Philippine Embassy in Indonesia and bring the requirements.

  1. Official receipt
  2. Old passport for cancellation

For those who cannot personally get the new passport, you may assign an authorized person (relative or friend) to claim the passport on your behalf with the additional requirements:

  1. Authorization letter
  2. Authorized person’s passport or ID

The steps in renewing the passport through the Consular Outreach are the same if you would do it in the Philippine Embassy but with few additions.
